10th September, 1971.

The Club have also entered the Middlesex K.0. Cup to be played on Sundays. 76 other sides have entered and we have a bye in the first round before playing the winners of G.W.R. and Antlers in the second, away from home on the 7th November.

ETCETERAS

Congratulations to Jeff Lucas who has just got married (if you read this after 11th September) to Ann O'Reilly from Dublin's Fair City. The marriage took place in Amsterdam where Jeff is at present working.

Martin Owen, ex-cross-country and 880 yards ace and now a solicitor was, at the beginning of the month, presented with a daughter.

A gentle reminder that subscriptions are now due for renewal and cheques for £1 payable to St. Nicholas 0.B.A. will be welcomed by Paul Williams at 16, Hilliard Road, Northwood. School leavers may also send their subscriptions to Paul at the same address (only 50p for first year leavers!).

Finally a reminder for those who didn't read the A.G.M. notice to attend on the 23rd September. Attendances at our A.G.Ms. have worsened to an alarming degree over the past few years. The mind boggles that so many people could be busy enough not to spare two hours on a Thursday evening once a year.
