SUMMER CAMP AT ST. MARY'S BAY 1963

By J. MEDANEY, L6EC.

I wonder how many G.C.E. candidates can remember back to November 1962. It was then that letters were sent round with words to the effect that their company would be requested at the forthcoming camp. Most of us received this letter with mixed feelings. Yet after the camp, even the moaners wanted to stay longer. While we were there visits were arranged to Dover Castle, Arundel Castle, Folkestone and Rye, not to forget certain walking trips in near and distant regions! I think that I can safely say that a very enjoyable time was had by all at the camp, and I should like to express, on behalf of the boys concerned, our thanks to the masters who did so much to make our stay a pleasant one.
