THE ROADS

Original Work by J. Davison 4A

The cars flash by;
They would horrify
The people of the past.
Though the roads are wide,
Many cars collide,
For they travel very fast.

There have been many alterations,
To get people to their destinations
Faster than before.
Many people learn to drive,
We hope that they will all survive
And that the signs they will not ignore.

One day the roads might all be free
But where would all the traffic be?
Underground, or in the air,
In outer space or on the sea?
Yes, one day they might be free.
