Original Work by J. Leaver M6A
Routine is a bore,
Yet I find more and more,
I'm immersed in a crushing inertia:
The more that one knows,
The more blasé one grows.
To the sixth from the frightening first year.
As one grows in good sense,
The pressure relents.
One's future depends on one's vision;
But it's comforting kicks,
That help master the pricks.
For there's nothing hurts more than decision.
If money I earn,
Meditation I'll spurn,
And employ several thinkers instead.
Even now I well know,
That life is "de trop".
And the best place for living is bed.
Because apathy kills
The strongest of wills,
And dulls every hope and sensation,
Only aid from outside
Can help one decide
To lessen this endless frustration.
