The St. Nicholas Grammar School / St. Nicholas Old Boys website is an unofficial, non-profit tribute dedicated to preserving the history and memories of the school (1955–1977). It provides information solely for educational and recreational purposes, with the goal of upholding the former good reputation of the school and its alumni.
We respect the privacy and intellectual property of all former students and staff. If anyone has privacy, safety, or security concerns regarding any content on this website—including names, narratives, photographs, or newspaper cuttings—please let us know. We will promptly remove any items if requested to do so by the individuals involved or the original copyright holders.
Many of our historical images have been superbly colourized using Nano Banana AI, and this work is ongoing. Please note that these colours are algorithmic interpretations. While we strive for accuracy, these versions are intended to bring a new perspective to our history rather than serve as a 100% literal record. The original black-and-white photographs remain the definitive historical archive.
While great care is taken to ensure the highest possible standards, the archive relies on faded memories and old records. The webmaster cannot guarantee the total accuracy of any item. Furthermore, any opinions stated or implied in articles, stories, or tips are purely those of the individual contributors, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the webmaster or the wider St. Nicholas Grammar School and St. Nicholas Old Boys community.
To maintain a welcoming environment, the webmaster reserves the absolute right to amend, refuse, or remove any submitted text or photographs at their sole discretion. Offensive, insulting, or discriminatory comments are not condoned and will not be tolerated.
