The St. Nicholas Grammar School / St. Nicholas Old Boys website is an unofficial, non-profit tribute dedicated to preserving the history and memories of the school (1955–1977). We respect the privacy and intellectual property of all former students, staff, and creators. The historical materials displayed on this non-profit website—including names, narratives, photographs, and newspaper cuttings—are preserved strictly for educational and community archiving purposes. Every effort is made to identify copyright owners and ensure personal privacy. However, if you have any privacy, safety, or security concerns, or if you are a copyright holder or representative of an individual featured here and wish an item to be removed, please contact us. Upon receipt of a request from the individuals involved or verified rights holders, we will promptly review and remove the content.

A Note on Colour Restoration

Many of our historical images have been carefully colourised using Nano Banana (an AI image processing tool provided by Google), and this work is ongoing. Please note that these colours are algorithmic interpretations. While we strive for accuracy, these versions are intended to bring a new perspective to our history rather than serve as a 100% literal record. The original black-and-white photographs remain the definitive historical archive.

Accuracy & Contributor Opinions

While great care is taken to ensure the highest possible standards, the archive relies on faded memories and old records. The webmaster cannot guarantee the total accuracy of any item. Furthermore, any opinions stated or implied in articles, stories, or tips are purely those of the individual contributors, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the webmaster or the wider St. Nicholas Grammar School and St. Nicholas Old Boys community.

Moderation Policy

To maintain a welcoming environment, the webmaster reserves the right to amend, refuse, or remove any submitted text or photographs at their sole discretion. Offensive, insulting, or discriminatory comments are not condoned and will not be tolerated.
