Thank you to everyone who attended and made it such a great day. A special thanks to Ian Dothie, Ray Wadham and Graham Parish for handing me so much memorabilia. The Scanning Department has been told to expect a few long days and late nights.

I'm delighted to inform the group that we have acquired Mike Timperley's Perpignan Diary. This rare item, which is 64 pages and includes many photos, was first published in 1960. It is a superb and most welcome addition to our site - see it HERE.

Anniversary Lunch - Competition time
The first person to identify the Old Boy and the St. Marys girl in the photo will win a bottle of fine wine, specially chosen by Rob Dunning from his much-admired, extensive collection of big, bold, aromatic wines, matured in oak casks in his cellar, nestling in the foothills of the Chilterns. This splendid prize can only be collected at the 70th Anniversary Lunch.

Sad to report the passing of Mick Owen on New Year's Eve. Mick had been suffering from dementia for a number of years and we have a page dedicated to his memory in the Absent Friends section here.

Sad to report the passing of Adrian Mustoe. Adrian was a '57 starter. After school he spent part of his career working locally at Kodak. His wife passed away a number of years ago and in recent years he had been living in Exeter.

Sad to report the passing of Mr. John Ryan. He was well-liked and taught physics between September 1970 and July 1973 when he left for Vyners, returning to Haydon some years later as Head of Science. At some point in his career he taught at Latymer Upper. He retired from Haydon in 1997. John was also an accomplished violinist and in later years he was often to be seen in the Northwood area.

The funeral of John Ryan will be at Holy Trinity Church, Northwood at 11am on 13th January 2025.

Sad to report the passing in October of Eric Andrew Danvers.
Martin Halley (1958-64) writes: Eric was in the '58 intake and left for Bristol University in 1965. He was a much appreciated close friend and confidant.
