CHRISTMAS MESSAGES
CHRISTMAS MESSAGES
A Message of Reflection and Gratitude
At this most poignant time of year, as we gather in a spirit of peace and goodwill, my heart is filled with a profound sense of gratitude for the simple acts of kindness and compassion that bind us together as a community. It is through our care for one another that we truly find the light during these winter months.
I wish to offer a particular word of thanks to our dedicated webmaster. His tireless stewardship and quiet hard work in maintaining this site provide a vital thread of connection, allowing our shared stories to reach every corner of the globe.
I would encourage you all to look upon your own cherished histories. I ask that you might consider sharing your precious memorabilia — those cuttings, photographs, and fragments of the past that tell the story of our time. By preserving these echoes now, we ensure that the legacy of your journeys remains a living testament for the generations to come, long after the seasons have turned.
Finally, it would afford me the greatest possible pleasure to remind you all of our upcoming reunion lunch on Thursday, the twelfth of March. One can only hope that as many of you as possible will be able to join us for what promises to be a most agreeable and heart-warming occasion.
The Bard writes
O, attend! For even as the roasted capon vanisheth from the platter, so too doth our time fly!
Pray, be not a churlish knave this Yuletide, but show such kindness as would shame a saint. To our Web-Master—that stout-hearted engine who keepeth our digital gates whilst we do slumber—we owe a debt of thanks greater than a mountain of sack!
But harken! Shake the dust from thy cupboards! Send hither thy yellowed scrolls, thy painted likenesses, and thy dusty relics of yore. Do it with speed, I charge thee! For if thou waitest until thy breath departs thy mortal frame, thy treasures shall surely be tossed to the swine, and we shall be left weeping in ignorance.
Lastly, forget not our Great Revel! On Thursday, the twelfth of March, we shall meet to break bread and make merry. Fail not to appear, lest thou be branded a scurvy companion!
A Christmas Message from the Desk of Donald Trump
Merry Christmas to everyone! We are having a beautiful holiday season, maybe the best one in history, frankly. It’s a wonderful time of year, and I want to remind all the great people out there to be very kind to one another. We’re doing kindness like nobody has ever seen before, and it’s a beautiful thing to see.
Listen, everyone is saying it, and they’re saying it very strongly: we have a reunion lunch coming up on Thursday, March 12th, and it’s going to be spectacular. It’s going to be a total win.
I’ve seen the guest list and the menu, and frankly, it’s incredible—the best people, amazing food, really top-tier. You don't want to miss it, believe me. We’re going to have a fantastic time, maybe the best time anyone’s ever had at a lunch. So, mark your calendars, get ready to celebrate, and we’re going to make this reunion bigger and better than ever before.
I also want to give a huge shout-out to our webmaster. He is doing a fantastic job, a tremendous job, keeping this site running perfectly. It’s fast, it’s clean, it looks incredible—everyone is saying it. He works very hard, and we appreciate it.
Lastly, we want your history! Send in your photos, your newspaper cuttings, all that great memorabilia. You have to do it now. Don't wait, because—and it's a very sad thing, but it's true—you won't be around forever. You’ve got to get these things to us before it’s too late so we can keep those wonderful memories alive forever. It’s going to be huge!
