Notes:
Panorama photos split into smaller, more manageable chunks and added to a Google Slide deck.
Clicking a number on the Slide displays a Google Form pre-filled with a Pupil Id (or teacher).
Fill out and Submit the Form - the data is written automatically to a hidden Google Sheet. No login required, no email required.
Development team with limited ability wrote a Google Apps Script which reads the Google Sheet and updates the Slide with the name entered.
Cannot find a way to automatically refresh the updated Slide.. but the "Refresh slides" button is now available.
Not yet tested on phone or tablet - works fine on laptop.
We have introduced a small amount of coding (Google Apps Script). But still NO COST, NO ADVERTS, NO 3RD PARTY ADD-ONS. Long may it continue.
Other Techie Notes:
Google reduces quality if images are > 1600px x 1600px, therefore photos have been split into small chunks
Photoshop Slice Tool used to split panoramas
Embed using H 100% W 100% uses all available space. H 1600px W 1600px adds scrollbars but it's not bad
