Original Work by H. TAYLOR (IC).
The summer is fled,
The autumn is here,
The leaves are red,
The evening drear.
Frost at morn,
And mist at night,
Cover the lawn
With shining white.
But in my room,
A fire shines bright,
And turns the gloom,
To sweet delight.
