Original Work by G. WILKINSON IV
A rippling stream, a meadow green,
This place for me was meant
A shaded spot from the summer sun
All spell the word "content".
Some fluffy clouds, a mountain breeze,
A warbling bird's lament;
A paradise just full of things
Which help make me content.
An evening mist, a smooth, still lake,
The full moon burning bright;
Apart from earthly friend or foe,
Apart from earthly plight.
I am content.
