The school tennis team had a disappointing season, winning only one of the four games played. The first pair N. Ransley and S. Wayne always provided the opposition with a hard fought match but the team lacked any depth.

In the final of the Matthew's Cup N. Ransley beat K. Alnatt 6-4, 6-3, 6-2.
